Welcome to the Film London Production Finance Market (PFM)

The PFM is the only film financing market of its kind in the UK and takes place each year in October during the BFI London Film Festival.

The PFM and its New Talent Strand will take place in person from 6-7 October 2026.

Each year the market schedules hundreds of 1:1 pitch meetings between producers/filmmaking teams and financiers, as well as financier-to-financier meetings during the main PFM.

New Talent Strand filmmaking teams benefit from an intensive online training lab in September, in addition to pitch practice on the 6th October before their financier meetings on the 7th.

In addition to the PFM’s usual offering of informal networking opportunities and industry sessions, in 2026 PFM merges with Film London’s IP Showcase, Upstream.

Upstream is an annual in-person event as well as a monthly online showcase on Substack, connecting IP creators and representatives from all story-led creative fields with film, TV and games producers, investors, development execs and distributors. Upstream@PFM will take place on the second day of the PFM and feature presentations of new, exciting IP ripe for adaptation.
